According to the United Nation’s Water Quality and Sanitation media brief, one out of four urban dwellers does not have access to improved sanitation facilities and 90% of all wastewater in developing countries is discharged untreated, polluting rivers, lakes and seas. This was evident in South Africa when the Vaal river was polluted due to the limited capacity of the wastewater treatment infrastructure.
Dynatron Group specializes in the maintenance and refurbishment of wastewater infrastructure covering mechanical, electrical, civil as well as control and instrumentation scope. Proactive maintenance has proved to extend the lifespan of the assets while the capital planning process is taking place to upgrade those assets that have reached the end of their useful life.
Our appointment
Dynatron Group was appointed to conduct electrical and instrumentation work including valve automation, online monitoring system and SCADA interface at Daveyton, Dekema and Waterval Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW) at the Ekurhuleni Water Care Company (ERWAT), in the Gauteng Province, South Africa.
